Refined pair of carved wooden columns, covered in gilded copper tolla, with burnished metal partitions and a marble base. The columns feature a fluted shaft, enriched with floral and garland decorations, and a square plinth base with floral decorations and lilies in the center. They top with a Corinthian capital and a square top in molded and ebonized wood, which serves as a support or vase holder. This pair of columns is tasteful and elegantly crafted, adding a touch of class and antiquity to any space. Minor defects are noted. Florentine manufacture, late 19th century.
