Refined, large Satsuma vase in painted polychrome porcelain. The vase has an ovoid shape and features decorative paintings running the length of the object, including figurative, geometric, and phytomorphic motifs. The two main sides depict two warriors, wearing traditional attire and colorful headdresses. The handle-like details are also distinctive, featuring two eagle heads, painted differently in shades of green on one side and white on the other, adding to the refined elegance. This is an object of great taste and class, capable of elegantly decorating any space. Japanese manufacture, late 19th century.
