Large ceremonial mirror in richly carved and gilded wood, attributed to a Florentine workshop in Tuscany, made toward the end of the 18th century or the beginning of the 19th century.

This impressive specchiera features a particularly balanced composition, characterized by an abundant decoration of acanthus leaves, volutes, and finely openwork shells. The quality of the carving, executed with great skill, lends the piece a remarkable interplay of light and relief.

The mirror retains its original beveled mercury-coated glass, offering the soft, deep reflections characteristic of antique mirrors. The frame features beautiful antique gilding, alternating between matte and burnished sections, with a harmonious patina acquired over time.
