Silver-plated Metal Coffee Pot, Louis XV Style, Mid-18th Century (15–18)

Louis XV-era silver-plated metal coffee pot or pitcher in a baluster shape, bearing a coat of arms.
Tripod design, spout adorned with lanceolate leaves and closed by a flap, turned wooden handle.
Coat of arms finely chased on the upper shoulder: “Argent, a band azure charged with three cogwheels.” This coat of arms most likely corresponds to the arms of the Reynolds de Seressin family (Dauphiné–Dombes).
Bibliography: Coat of arms referenced in Henri Jougla de Morenas’ *Grand Armorial de France*
