Blade from the Bizen school, unsigned.
Well-defined hamon and beautiful chu-kissaki geometry (medium)
Gunome Ha temper line.
Ha Agari Kuri Jiri tang with two mounting holes.
Some chips along the edge and polishing marks.
Long nagasa measuring 71.5 cm

Black-lacquered iron fuchi with a polished brass kachira; the menuki depict a tiger and a phoenix.
The lacing has likely been redone.
Openwork iron tsuba, Naga Maru Gata style, measuring 72.5 mm by 68.7 mm; it resembles a radiant sun.
Black-lacquered saya with inlays of small raised dots, the overall effect of which resembles a starry sky.
