CAMEL-SHAPED TABLE CLOCK WITH ENAMEL DIAL AND SEMI-PRECIOUS STONES

Silver, semi-precious stones, wood, rock crystal.
H: 20.5 cm – W: 17.5 cm – Dial diameter: 5.5 cm
Enamel dial, featuring two painted cherubs in the center surmounted by a stork;
Green enamel ring with silver cartouches featuring Roman numerals and orange gemstones; a white enamel minute track, and a blue enamel hour and minute track set with green gemstones.
Cock-shaped movement with key winding.
Silver case encircled by purple enamel.
The case back is made of chiseled rock crystal.
The clock is topped by a young boy wearing an enameled loincloth and headdress.
The entire piece rests on a walking camel, whose saddle is enameled and gilded.
The base is carved wood, adorned with a cut-silver frieze and decorated with four enamel plaques painted with cherubs and four semi-precious stones.
The underside bears a red collection inventory number: 81.1.488.
