Small Porcelain Chiller Adorned With A Gold-plated Brass Frame By Edmé Samson,

Small table-top cooler or planter with a dynamic shape, made of porcelain and accented with a rich Rocaille-style gilded brass frame.
The white porcelain body features a polychrome floral designhand-painted,
composed of bouquets of wildflowers.
The upper part of the porcelain is accented by a fine twisted gilded border.

The body features a geometric relief pattern, in a “wickerwork” style,on the upper portion.

Agilded metal frame structures the piece; the openwork upper rim, adorned with rep-style motifs and topped by a frieze of pearls, follows the edge of the porcelain.
Two large, leaf-adorned side handles and dynamic in form connect the base to a circular, open work pedestal, supported by four feet chiseled with acanthus leaves and terminating in claws.
Beneath the base is a blue stamped mark depicting two crossed swords with the letter T,
imitating the Meissen style, produced by the Montreuil porcelain manufactory of Edmé Samson.
