comprising a semicircular medallion on porcelain representing Ecce Homo. included in a frame, surmounted by a cross, in brass and cloisonné enamels.
After a painting by Guido Reni executed around 1636.
Below is positioned a small opening holy water font in brass and cloisonné enamels.
The whole is arranged on a wooden plate covered with a blue moiré struck velvet. And in a gilded wooden frame in the rococo style.
Period second half of the 19th century.
Dimensions:Gilded wooden frame: 27 cm x 18 cm.
Porcelain plate: 5.30 cm x 3.80 cm.
Good condition, gilding cleaned, polished and varnished brass. The old struck velvet has been replaced.
