Alphonse CYTÈRE (1861-1941)
Ingénieur, director of the Société Anonyme des Produits Céramiques de Rambervillers (S.A.P.C.R.). In 1903, he set up an art studio with in the establishment and produced pieces (vases, decorative objects decorative objects, architectural elements) supplied by numerous artists of the École de Nancy, including Jacques Gruber, Eugène Vallin, Ernest Bussière, Louis Majorelle, Pierre Claudin and René Jeandelle. These objects in flamed stoneware are available in catalogs and regularly presented at salonsof the Société lorraine des Amis des Arts and at École de Nancy exhibitions exhibitions.
