An important Italian modular bookcase from the 1950s, made of teak and designed as a true architectural structure.

The bookcase consists of five modules, each measuring H 220 cm x W 88 cm x D 25.5 cm, for a total length of approximately 440 cm. The structure features vertical wooden posts, adjustable shelves, and metal brackets for wall mounting—elements that define its structural rhythm with great clarity and visual lightness.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece, custom-made in the 1950s based on a design by an Italian architect. The bookcase was purchased directly from the architect’s heirs, a fact that reinforces its historical value and unique provenance.

Designed primarily to be placed against a wall, it can also be used as a room divider, transforming into an elegant, lightweight partition capable of organizing and defining the living space.
