22 cm wide by 15 cm long; 26 cm tall including the base.
Significant sacrificial patina, thick and rich.
An (old) chip on the base; the first two photos show both sides.
Probably from the 19th century. The glare in the photos is due to the powerful lighting used to ensure you can see the objects as clearly as possible.
From a very fine collection assembled by expatriates who lived in Africa in the 1950s and 1960s and later passed down through inheritance. It’s not always the case, but these cultured individuals took the time to carefully select their pieces on-site; they are all superb, and I have several for sale.
