Louis XIV-era Gilded Wooden Chandelier
A gilded, carved wooden chandelier with eight scroll-shaped arms. The central shaft is first adorned with foliage motifs. It tapers toward a thick ring through fluting. The gadrooned canopy supports the volutes, which are decorated with carved acanthus scrolls set against a subtle diamond-patterned background. The lamp base, featuring horizontal grooves, harmoniously completes the design. The overall decoration is finely carved in the Baroque style.
