Late 19th Centurytin Fire Screen With Painted Flowers
Refined small tin fire screen with hand-forged, wrought iron legs and painted decorations. The screen has an elongated, shield-like shape with a wavy top. It also features two legs on each side, featuring phytomorphic and geometric decorations. Adding further refinement are the painted decorations, featuring a bouquet of pink and red flowers and leaves. There are some minor paint losses. This is a tasteful and elegant fire screen, capable of adding a touch of class and antiquity to any space. French manufacture, from the Art Nouveau period, around the end of the 19th century.
