DURE Porcelain.
White background adorned with a continuous frieze along the top of the cup and the rim of the saucer, consisting of a sequence of stylized motifs combining palmettes, foliage, and garlands punctuated by dark pearls and pale green lanceolate leaves. The design is enlivened by orange and gold highlights forming arabesques, ending in the heads of fantastical birds, and alternating with vertical bands adorned with fleurons on a mauve background. The center of the saucer’s base is adorned with a radiating gold fleur-de-lis, surrounded by a scattering of golden foliage. Gold fillets along the edges.
