Palace Candlesticks From The Early 17th Century Bearing The Guidi Di Romena Family Coat Of Arms.

A splendid and elegant pair of candlesticks made entirely of wood, featuring delicate stucco decoration in the form of pastiglia, rich with classical-style festoons and sculpted cherub heads in low and high relief that adorn the ornate volutes of the base with lion-shaped feet. The candlesticks date to early 17th-century Roman production and bear a coat of arms with a heraldic element belonging to an important family of medieval origins, the Counts Guidi of Romena, who ruled for centuries across Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna. The candelabra come from a prominent palace in central Rome. They measure 170 cm in height and approximately 60 cm at their widest point.

The candelabra have undergone restoration to consolidate the original gilding, which was preserved in its entirety; minor chips and flaking have been completely repaired and touched up with gold leaf. These candelabra, already electrified and equipped with their own light fixtures, are ready to be placed in your rooms and halls, adding a touch of extreme elegance to any type of interior design.
