Museum: Pair Of Beautiful Wrought-iron, Engraved Spurs, Late Gothic

Pair of wrought-iron spurs with star-shapedwheels, Late Gothic style, Western Europe, probably late 15th –16th century.
Pair of spurs with curved shanks that are heavily indented along the outer edge, ending in four strap attachments, three of which are engraved with a grid pattern.
The square-section shank is sharply angled; wheel holder is engraved on both sides, housing in its slot a large star-shaped wheel with five cut-out prongs, the iron pin being riveted.
Beautiful fine-work forging; the technical details should be visible in our photos—including forging, wear, and corrosion—as well as artistic details, engravings, the junction of arm to collar, details of the fasteners, pins, and engravings on wheels.

Very good condition, very little corrosion for a delicate object from the Middle Ages.
