Beneath the lock plate, likely the manufacturer’s mark and the date 1272 (in Arabic numerals) of the Hijri calendar (1855 in the Gregorian calendar).
The ramrod is missing. The trigger is a later replacement. Damage to the ivory on the butt plate.
