An antique hair comb from the Belle Époque period, crafted from light-colored horn and adorned with an openwork metal frame set with numerous sparkles (high-quality rhinestones).
Its delicate design, reminiscent of a flowering branch, can accommodate a feather that accentuates its theatrical character.
Designed to be worn on the side or at the back of a bun, this model perfectly illustrates the feminine aesthetic of the years 1900–1915, when hairstyles were voluminous and enhanced by elaborate hair ornaments.
The fastening system is complete and securely holds the hairpin in place on the comb. This piece is a remarkable testament to the art of women’s adornment during the Belle Époque.
