An elegant French work table from the second half of the 19th century, crafted in the famous Dieppe workshop, renowned for its extraordinary production of objects and furnishings embellished with ivory inlays and appliqués. The piece is crafted from ebonized wood and features an elegant, contoured top richly decorated with inlays depicting floral, plant, and geometric motifs—typical of the finest Dieppe craftsmanship of the era. Dieppe was, in fact, one of the most important French centers for artistic ivory carving between the 17th and 19th centuries.
