"Two-body Living Room Furniture Sideboard Orientalist Style 19th Century European"
This living room piece of furniture presents a very beautiful execution of probably French/Italian workshops from the end of the 19th century - orientalist style Napoleon III / 1900. The frame in two bodies (buffet - sideboard with mirror) is composed of a slatted sideboard for the lower part and a mirror integrated into an orientalist cross architecture for the upper part. The entire iconographic vocabulary is orientalist: cartouches in Arabic letters, twisted blackened wooden bamboo Asian art/Japonism, marquetry of mother-of-pearl, ivories and exotic woods, mashrabier partitions, cross niche. Walnut manufacturing is European, probably from French or Italian workshops from the latter part of the 19th century. There is a lack of a small return to the left (see photos). Otherwise it is in good state of conservation. The dimensions are as follows: height: 260 cm top height: 98 cm depth: 57 cm width: 194 cm.
