This beautiful lamp is signed Maison Charles. It dates from the 1970s and features a lovely openwork pattern on the base with its rectangular lampshade in gold/copper metal, characteristic of the house. Founded in 1907, it has continued to offer new lines of art deco and design furniture, devoting itself essentially to the art of light via light fixtures in silver, copper, gold, etc. The lamp is in relatively good condition despite a slight misalignment of the lampshade and a scratch on it (see photos).
