Stunning French Bonheur du Jour writing desk from the first half of the 19th century, in the Louis XV style, made of walnut wood and walnut veneer. It features an upper body with a central panel embellished with a Sèvres porcelain medallion framed with bronze beading and drawers, all enriched with inlay motifs and bronze appliques. The lower body consists of a drawer beneath the writing surface and a small leather top with bronze appliques. It stands on cabriole legs.
