Pair Of Empire-style Bowls / Tazzas – Gilded Bronze And Siena Yellow Marble – 19th Century
These bowls combine the luster of gilded bronze with Sienna Yellow marble. Each gilded bronze bowl features a flared basin decorated with radiating gadroons, flanked by two finely chiseled handles.
The bowl rests on an elegant columnar pedestal of Siena yellow marble, accented at its base by a gilt-bronze frieze featuring waterleaf motifs. The ensemble rests on a marble base with typical dark veining.
The set is in very fine original condition.
