Italy, Early 18th Century. Albarello. Parrot Decoration . Savone Or Albisola
The variety of designs on antique apothecary jars—known as *albarelli* in Italy—is virtually endless.
Here, the painter has depicted a charming parrot amid a lush backdrop of blue foliage.
The back of the jar was left blank to affix the label indicating its contents.
Made in the late 17th or early 18th century, many workshops in Italy likely produced this elegant albarello.
I thanks a italian collector who share with me his knoledge ; he sais that it's from Savone or Albisole , famous and important centers for ceramics production..
There is a tiny chip on the rim; otherwise, it is in good condition.
