Charming Nevers earthenware pitcher dating from the 18th century, with cobalt blue painted decoration on a white background. The globular body is decorated with plant cartouches and a rotating decoration representing a landscape. The flared neck is decorated with a frieze of lambrequins, the handle highlighted with blue dots. Beautiful old glaze with a fine network of cracks and a slight iridescence. Dimensions: Height: 24 cm Width: 16 cm: The whole is in good condition considering the period. There are some hairs in the enamel at the neck, as well as chips around the foot and the upper rim. The glaze has a network of cracks.
