Baluster Vase In Satsuma Earthenware
Pretty baluster vase in Satsuma earthenware, decorated with warriors, circa 1900. The Satsuma workshops in Japan produced large quantities of decorative objects for the West, which had become infatuated with Japonism, with the opening of the island trades with the rest of the world with the Meiji summer. Very good original condition, no marks or accidents.
