Indian Miniature .the Snake Charmer
Here's a successful marriage between the exoticism of a Rajhastan Indian miniature and a late 19th-century frame.
The subject of the miniature is well known, this one was beautifully painted at the end of the 19th or beginning of the 20th century on very fine paper, very soft to the touch.
The frame with its original wide marie- Louise in stamped velvet edged in gold highlights the delicate colors of the drawing.
