Framed Piety Embroidery Circa 1800

Embroidery of pansy and daisy foliage on an ecru silk moire, centered with a cross and topped with an engraving of a martyr watercolored and bordered with small gold sequins. It is framed in a good gold leaf baguette in excellent condition. It is a beautiful work of piety probably made by a young girl at the vigil. The whole is strictly original and has never been opened, as can be seen on the back, since the beginning of the 19th century. If some dust has entered despite everything, the whole is in excellent condition.
