This is a high-quality piece signed by the famous Parisian bronze artist Charles Gautier—Ch. Gautier Fᵗ de Bronzes, Paris, Bordeaux—as seen in a cartouche on the dial, as well as his stamp on the back of the movement plate
Mahogany body with a beautiful patina
Superb finial in the shape of a Medici cup, crafted from chiseled bronze. The sides are adorned with rich bronze mascarons holding movable pull rings.
Mahogany back with applied Roman numerals in relief
