A desk designed by Charlotte Perriand in the late 1950s.The rectangular tabletop is laminated with gray melamine and rests on a black-lacquered metal frame; the desk features a yellow drawer marked “Charlotte Perriand, patented by S.G.D.G.”Cansado is a mining town built in the 1960s by the Mauritanian Iron Mining Company (MIFERMA) to house its staff. Some of the furniture was designed by Charlotte Perriand between 1959 and 1967.
