A superb and rare set of 5 porcelain tiles featuring erotic designs. Created by two artists, André Barbe in collaboration with Michelle Lauzé—the former being a renowned Canadian ceramicist, while André Barbe, born André-François Barbe,(1936–2014), was a famous French illustrator of humor and erotic art and a comic book author.
He began his career in 1958 by publishing his drawings in Le Rire, then in Hara-Kiri, Charlie Mensuel, and Pilote.
These tiles, featuring original artwork, can be incorporated into a wall tile installation or even displayed in a modern frame as original artworks. They are all signed on the back by both artists and are in perfect condition.
