Sarreguemines, Fleury, Tea Set
Sarreguemines earthenware tea set with a polychrome design featuring bouquets of roses and wild roses, known at the factory as the "Fleury" design.
The set consists of:
- 1 teapot, height 18.50 cm including the handle (handle reglued, small yellow spots under the spout),
opening diameter 10 cm.
- 1 sugar bowl, height 14 cm including lid handle, opening diameter 8 cm.
- 1 water jug, height 15 cm.
- 4 cups, height 7.50 cm, diameter 9.80 cm.
- 4 saucers, diameter 18 cm.
Decorated with a transfer print enhanced by gilding and small brushstrokes.
Late 19th – early 20th century.
