This oil on canvas painting, executed around the mid-1960s, measures 40 x 35 cm. It is presented in a later, non-original frame with glass, measuring 58.5 x 54 cm.
The painting depicts a female face, rendered with rich, textured brushstrokes and warm tones that stand in strong contrast to the cool colors of the background.
On the reverse, the work bears a label and stamps from Galleria d’Arte La Chiocciola.
The overall condition is good, with minor wear consistent with age and use. The signature “Maccari” is visible in the lower left corner.
