Bishop's figure in carved wood covered with metal plates. The bishop is depicted wearing the miter and liturgical vestments. The metal plates are repoussé and gilded. The figure presents a marked frontality.
Particularly noteworthy is the chromatic contrast between the dark wood tint of the face and hands (two fingers of the right hand are missing) and the brilliance of the metal plates adorning the miter and vestments.
