Two great artists collaborated to create this magnificent bistre engraving of a hunting scene. Designed by Carle Vernet, a specialist in depictions of horses and son of the famous Joseph Vernet, painter of the Royal ports (see engraving port of Bayonne number: 1769996), engraved by Debucourt, a famous painter and engraver well known for his genre scenes.
