Exceptional pair of vases in fine granito called "Venetian Mosaic". Antique red background dotted with tiny marble chips of different colors. Ovoid shape inspired by vases from ancient Egypt. Often used on floors, terrazzo is extremely rare on decorative objects. Pair of vases probably made in the Friuli region (Northern Italy). Beautiful original shiny patina. Period 1920 - 1930. Provenance: private collection in the south of France.
