This is an ochre-toned smoked glass vase, made from pressed-molded and blown glass, featuring floral decoration in relief. The piece is signed under the base.
D'Argyl is actually a brand name used from 1928 by Val (E.) & Cie, a silversmith's house located at 218 rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin in Paris. The company ceased trading in 1940.
The vase is in very good used condition, with no chips or cracks.
