French painter and photographer born in Paris.
Introduced to the art world as a child by his father, Maurice Mendjisky, a member of the Ecole de Paris, he trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts.
He went on to make a name for himself through exhibitions in Europe, the United States and Japan.
First focusing his career on painting, his style and technique brought him closer to the post-impressionist and pointillist painters.
He then turned to photography as his main means of expression from the 2000s onwards, creating multidimensional works with Cubist accents by means of collages of different photographic images of famous cities, such as New York or Venice. Today, his works are exhibited at the Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Pushkin Museum in Moscow, among others.
