Small oval oil painting on copper depicting the Assumption. The Virgin Mary, in a prayer posture and dressed in a red dress and a blue cloak, is seated in thick clouds, surrounded by cherubs. The folds of the clothing, highlighted by the beautiful play of light and shadow, are executed with great finesse.
The bronze frame is decorated with 16 brass rosettes.
