After Raphael, Porcelain Painting Representing Two Cherubs, 19th Century
Oval porcelain painting depicting two putti leaning on clouds inspired by those depicted in the Sistine Madonna by Raffaello Sanzio, known as Raphael (1483-1520). The plaque is set in a wooden frame covered with blue velvet. The figures of the cherubs are treated with great delicacy, the nuances of color are subtle and the modeling of the hair and wings is most refined.
