Brass Trade Sign, First Half Of The 19th Century
Trade sign bearing the name F. Ribstein and the inscription "cabriolet de place/n°1891 du livret" around the edge. A cabriolet de place was a small, light, two-wheeled carriage, drawn by a horse and driven by a coachman, capable of carrying one or two people and stationed in a public square awaiting passengers.
Traces of oxidation on the reverse.
