Masonic Crystal Ceremonial Glass, Early 19th Century

Slightly flared engraved crystal glass with Masonic decoration.The body is adorned with rich wheel-engraved motifs, combining symbols and decorative elements characteristic of Masonic iconography.and decorative elements characteristic of Masonic iconography.

The center features a six-pointed star framing a radiating motifprobably a symbolic evocation of light or knowledge.knowledge. The whole is surrounded by a wreath of foliage,reinforcing the initiatory and symbolic dimension of the composition.On another side, a stylized architectural motif, evoking columns orcolumns or buildings, completes the ornamentation. The upper part is highlighted by a geometric frieze, while latticework and arcature motifs give structure to the overall decoration.
