Silver Jam Dish, 19th Century
Solid silver confiturier in the form of a double-handled bowl topped by a lid with a swan-shaped grip and resting on a square base supported by four sphere-shaped feet. The antique-inspired decoration features palms, flowers and goats' heads. The interior features a removable glass vessel.
Hercules grosse garantie hallmarks and vieille femme title hallmarks, in use in the départements from 1819 to 1838, on the base, bowl and lid.
Initials "P.F.B" on the inside of the lid.
A slight indentation in the bottom of the cup.
Good overall condition.
