Neoclassical dressing table, inlaid walnut, velvet interior, southern Germany, circa 1900.
Solid walnut body. Lid inlaid with ebony, maple and burl. Slightly sloping at the edges. On the front, a blackened and inlaid vase-shaped lock plate. Brass hinges. Original brass lock in working condition, with 2 bolts and 1 key. Purple velvet-lined interior, featuring multiple compartments and fully removable.
Restored condition, hand-polished with shellac.
