Rectangular Biedermeier dining table from France, circa 1820, expandable on both sides.
- Beautiful blonde solid cherry wood, hand-polished with shellac.
- Conical, square tapered legs in solid cherry wood with ebony ring.
- Expandable on both sides, allowing the table to be extended from 195.5 cm to 301 cm.
- Two side extension leaves slide under the main top and are supported by long, solid oak planks.
- The extension leaves (each approx. 79.5 cm long) are made of a cherry wood frame with chestnut wood in the center.
- Restored condition, shellac hand-polish finish.
