Magnificent Smith & Wesson No. 3 Russian system revolver, manufactured by Orbea Hermanos (Eibar) under exclusive license, as evidenced by the inscription on the barrel: "ORBEA HERMANOS EIBAR CON PRIVILEGIO EN ESPAÑA". Dated approximately between 1877 and 1882. Caliber .44 Russian.
This is an elegant deluxe version, finely engraved with plant motifs. Note the gold inscription on the barrel bearing the name of its owner: "MANUEL MUÑOZ SÁNCHEZ".
The weapon is equipped with a removable wooden stock, a particularly rare accessory, accompanied by its period leather case.
Condition: Excellent. The weapon presents a superb overall appearance, with well-defined engravings and perfectly legible markings. The stock retains its original varnish and shows only a few light superficial scratches. Mechanism in perfect condition.
