An Early Silver Merovingian Fibula-brooch, Circa 6th Century Ad

A Merovingian fibula in the shape of a serpent. The brooch is decorated with bright red glass paste inlays, from the radiated head, snake scales decoration on the bow, and the terminal in the form of a snake head with fine details. As is often the case, the pin is lost. Furthermore in an excellent condition.
