Sarreguemines, Décor Lavallière, 6 Dinner Plates
Sarreguemines, suite of 6 dinner plates with polychrome decoration of chrysanthemums, roses, vine leaves, periwinkle and lace, on a form known as "Papier épinglé" at the faience factory.
This particular form, which was only enhanced with the "Lavallière", "Sujets" (Froment Richard) and "fleurs Louis XV" decors, is characterized by trompe-l'oeil pinned paper folds.
