MONDE
In the salon of Madame des Ricochets
The mirrors are made of pressed grains of dew
The console is made of an arm in ivy
And the carpet dies like the waves
In the salon of Madame des Ricochets
Moon tea is served in whippoorwill eggs
The curtains begin the melting of the snow
And the piano in lost perspective sinks in one piece into the mother-of-pearl
In Madame des Ricochets' salon
Low lamps beneath aspen leaves
Lutinize the pangolin-shell fireplace
When Madame des Ricochets rings
The doors split open to let the escarpolette maids through
