18th Century Clock
Artist: Attribué à Antoine Ravrio
Extraordinary and rare gilt bronze clock of superior quality , probably a work of the famous Parisian bronzier Antoine Ravrio ( 1759 - 1814 ).
Directoire period ; France circa 1795.
Condition : on the white enamelled dial there are a few small chips and a part of the signature is illegible ( someone tried to erase the signature ).
Good condition , high quality gilding and chasing of bronzes; nice mechanism with indication of days; to be cleaned by a professional.
Unknown model ; I am+40 years in the trade; I have never seen this model before !
